These are from an as of yet unnamed oracle deck project. The theme, like many of the my other decks, is reimaging the work of one of my favorite artists. In this case the artist is Mucha. I want the cards to be familiar but at the same time new, another of my preferred themes. I have a general idea of what I want the deck to be and the symbolism. It’s a matter of working with the cards and seeing what takes shape. That’s basically my process. This is my second oracle deck. The first was for a special event and I don’t promote it any more. I’d like to take some of its symbolism and carry it into this one.
